Judge struggled in his first professional season. He hit just .255 with 8 home runs and 50 RBIs. He was sent down to the Class A-Advanced Tampa Yankees in 2014, and he hit .282 with 14 home runs and 65 RBIs.

Judge was promoted to the Double-A Trenton Thunder in 2015, and he hit .293 with 20 home runs and 70 RBIs. He was named the Eastern League Player of the Year, and he was also named to the MLB All-Star Futures Game.
