By Vernon Jordan

Vernon Jordan was a civil rights leader, lawyer, and close advisor to presidents. Known for his intelligence, wit, and charm, Jordan was also dyslexic. In his memoir, Vernon Can Read, Jordan shares his personal journey with dyslexia, from his childhood struggles to his eventual triumph over the challenges of reading and writing.

Jordan's memoir is a powerful and inspiring read for anyone who has ever struggled with dyslexia or any other learning disability. Jordan's story is a reminder that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

In Vernon Can Read, Jordan writes about his early struggles with reading and writing. He was often teased and ridiculed by his classmates, and he felt like he was stupid. But Jordan never gave up. He worked hard to improve his reading and writing skills, and he eventually went on to graduate from college and law school.

Jordan's memoir is not just about his struggles with dyslexia. It is also about his triumphs. Jordan went on to become a successful lawyer and civil rights leader. He served as a close advisor to presidents, and he played a major role in the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Jordan's story is an inspiration to anyone who has ever faced adversity. It is a reminder that anything is possible with hard work and determination.

Vernon Can Read is a must-read for anyone who is interested in the life of Vernon Jordan or for anyone who has ever struggled with dyslexia or any other learning disability.
